How Stress, Syllables & Intonation Work Together in English 🇬🇧📚
To speak English clearly, you must understand how these 3 things connect:
🔹 Syllables = the beats of a word
Example: education → e-du-ca-tion (4 syllables)
🔹 Stress = the strong beat
Example: eduCAtion (the 3rd syllable is stronger)
🔹 Intonation = the music of a sentence (rise and fall of your voice) helps you identify the stress in a sentence.
