Last week, at the behest of Her Excellency, Dr (Mrs) Betsy Obaseki, I flew to Abuja with 8 young boys and girls who had been selected as Edo state beneficiaries to benefit RENEWED HOPE INITIATIVE SCHOLARSHIP PROGRAMME – an initiative of the First Lady of Nigeria Mrs. Oluremi Tinubu.
The scholarship programme is a collaboraton between, the Renewed Hope Initiative (Chaired by the Federal First Lady), African Union Development Agency (AUDA-NEPAD Scholarship Project and the African School of Economics (ASE), where the beneficiaries will be enrolled.
Great experience for all of us especially for these young adults, who get a second chance with all the benefits of this scholarship and who got to dine with the first lady and interact with her one on one.
Next Steps – do all we can to lock in all documentation and registrations ahead of a September resumption
