BREAKING: Tinubu Approves 1,000 Forest Guards for Oyo, Deploys Special Rescue Team After School Abduction.
President Bola Tinubu has approved the recruitment of 1,000 forest guards for Oyo State and deployed a special rescue team following the abduction of pupils and teachers in Oriire Local Government Area.
A Federal Government delegation led by Chief of Staff Femi Gbajabiamila visited the affected communities and assured residents that security agencies are working to rescue the victims and improve security in the area.
The forest guards will help secure forests and rural communities often targeted by kidnappers, while rescue operations continue to secure the release of those abducted.
