Fraud alert!!! Somebody called me saying we (from Citec Estate Muslim Assoc) will be having a meeting on WhatsApp by 8:00 PM to night and for me to join the meeting, I will have to call for him a code that will be sent to my sms inbox. Meanwhile, that code was to confirm the re-registering of my WhatsApp phone number on a different device (their device). once I give that code, I will be logged out of WhatsApp from my current device (e.g., GSM Phone) and my WhatsApp account will be re-registered on their device automatically, and they will impersonate my WhatsApp account and from there they will drop their Bank account number and will be requesting my contacts to lend me money and commit other fraud; so ware. Do not give anybody any one time password (OTP) that appear on your phone.
