Total Child Model Schools participated in the 'Sanitation and Hygiene' essay competition organized by the Abuja Environmental Protection Board (AEPB) for World Toilet Day. The event aimed to promote awareness of proper sanitation and hygiene and their effects on health and sustainability.

A student from the school secured 2nd place in the highly competitive event, showcasing creativity, knowledge, and practical solutions to sanitation challenges. This success reflects the students' caliber and the dedication of the teaching staff in nurturing excellence.

The school thanked the AEPB for the opportunity and acknowledged the support of staff, students, and parents. Total Child Model Schools remains committed to holistic education and inspiring social responsibility.

Total Child Model Schools participated in the FUTURE SKILL competition sponsored by ExxonMobil and PanAfricare at Roberto Schools, Wuse 2, with the code name TEAM STEVE. The event featured three categories: Coding, Basic Robotics, and Advanced Robotics. Total Child Model Schools competed in the Advanced Robotics category, which was judged on Professionalism, Robot Design, and Robot Functionality. The school secured 1st place in Professionalism and 2nd place in Robot Design, earning a spot in the next round of the competition.

THE REPORT FOR SAFEONLINE PROGRAM
The safeonline program held in Total Child Model Schools on 20th of June 2024 by Meta and Junior Achievement Nigeria.
This program is basically a guide on online safety and becoming a good digital citizen. It comprised of 3 sessions, which are:
Session 1: Digital Learning and Digital Foundation.
Session 2: Digital wellness and Digital Engagement.
Session 3: Digital Empowerment and Digital Opportunities.

DIGITAL LEARNING AND DIGITAL FOUNDATION
Under this section the students where thought the use of internet, network, data, mobile devices, Different ways to use the internet, password-protected network, websites, Public Connections (Unsecure, Untrusted), Private Connection (Secure, Trusted).
Under digital foundation the students where thought, connectivity, Wi-Fi, unsecure Wi-Fi, secured Wi-Fi, cyber security, phishing & spam, password basics.
DIGITAL WELLNESS AND DIGITAL ENGAGEMENT.
The lessons and activities in this section help student explore their identities, engage with others (both individuals and the larger collective) online in empathic, ethical, and positive ways, and counteract the risks the digital world may come with to protect their physical and mental health. Skills addressed include identity exploration and formation, positive/respectful behavior, and safety and wellbeing.

DIGITAL EMPOWERMENT AND DIGITAL OPPORTUNITIES.
The lessons and activities in this section help learners participate in public matters, advocate for the issues they care about, produce content, and understand and apply legal concepts. Skills addressed include civic and political engagement, content production, and law.
In attendance where 3 representatives from Junior Achievement Nigeria, 50 of total child model school’s students, Mr. Ademola, Mr. Golden, Mr. Micheal, and the Drector Bar. Lucky.

The United Nations/CBN in collaboration with Polaris Bank celebrated the Global Money Week and the theme for this year is “Protect your Money, Secure your Future!”.
Global Money Week is an annual global awareness-raising campaign on the importance of ensuring that young people, from an early age are financially aware, and are gradually acquiring the knowledge, skills, attitudes and behaviors necessary to make sound financial decisions, ultimately achieve financial wellbeing/ financial resilience and also focuses on safe money management which helps to highlight the importance of adopting a responsible and informed approach to personal finances by being aware of potential risks in the financial sector.
