What is the double vowel rule?
When 2 vowels walk together, the first does the talking and says it's name while the second keeps quiet.
E.g.
The 'a' in the word 'read' is quiet while letter 'e' says it's name.
Rules such as this make phonics really interesting to teach reading.

Just a little clarification
Phonics is different from diction
Phonics is not diction
They are two separate programs
While phonics is about learning to spell and write correctly, diction is about speaking rightly
Good knowledge of phonics however enhances one's spoken English.

YOU NEED TO GO AND OPEN A YOUTUBE CHANNEL MA
I will let you into why this person said this
I began a private class (offline) with her last week on HOW TO TEACH READING THE JOLLY WAY
It's a class expected to last 4weeks:(2contacts a week) after which she will be issued a certificate of completion
After the first contact, she got a new and better paying private tutoring class
As she came for the second class, she was like, "the YouTube channel needs NIGERIAN CONTENT ON JOLLY PHONICS and I want you to be the one there"
She said she searched the YouTube to no avail till she approached me
Get it clear, there are tons of contents on JOLLY PHONICS right there on YouTube but she couldn't be cleared on it as she did with my teaching as most of the videos there are foreign contents and the sounds were pronounced using foreign ascent
Having a YouTube channel is surely part of my agenda to be achieved before the second half of 2022 in Sha Allah
