Sometime in August, someone in Spain contacted me that he needed help with getting a fully remote job as a product manager.

He needed me to help him find the jobs, optimize his documents and apply to these jobs. And that is what I did!

From the images above, you can see that one month later, he got multiple offers that he even had to take some time to think about which one to accept.

🚫 Myth: "Nigerians cannot work remotely".
✅ Reality: Unless you live under a rock, it's no news that a lot of Nigerians living in Nigeria work remotely. From Lagos to Kaduna to Owerri to Abuja, it has been proven that distance is not a barrier when you have the right skills and strategies. 💪🏽

🚫 Myth: "Remote work equals laziness".
✅ Reality: I laugh when people say this. There's a lot of self motivation that goes into working remotely and it is definitely not for lazy people. Plus, we just upgraded our office to the couch 😊!

🚫 Myth: "Only "tech" people work remotely".
✅ Reality: Happy to bust your bubble that remote work isn't just for the tech wizards. We've got accountants, marketers, writers, teachers and even Jollof rice critics thriving in the remote game. Nevertheless, you should equip yourself with the right tools necessary for this journey.
