'Perfection of handwriting needs proper education, regular exercises, and purity of the soul'.

~Yakut Mustasimi, Turkish Calligrapher

There is a great culture of writing in the world and handwritings, calligraphy and other forms of creative adventures are making the world a better place in their ways.

When Faydah Yahya walked into the room, the creative energy you see in an artist followed her. She smiled and the first artistic expression formed on the board.

The Young Adventurers are having fun!

It's a new month and you get to see some latest memories from our Young Adventurers Bootcamp. The memories will drop like icicles throughout today. It's a new month and you get to know it's been super fun with everyone around.

Now imagine a universe without creativity.

What do you think?

Creative writing continued with Mss Munir and the imagination of the Young Adventurers kept growing. One fascinating story was told by one of them and there was an ant hill, a family of 50,000 members and that brought back the work of Richard Powers, Overstory and an interview he did with Barbara Kingsolver, back to mind. For that Young Adventurer to be thinking beyond us, to include the little things that matter that we mostly take for granted in her story, I was happy.

There are other stories too ranging from fantasy world-building and dialoguing to historical twists giving off the vibe in Atwood's work.

Later there was an introduction to robotics using Microcontrollers like Arduino and Raspberry Pi. Followed by a brief talk on design thinking.

A brief historical talk was part of it. Works on Ismail Al-Jazari and many others.

ISMAIL AL-JAZARI (1136–1206)

Ismail Al-Jazari was a polymath: a scholar, inventor, mechanical engineer, artisan, artist, and mathematician from the Artuqid Dynasty of Jazira in Mesopotamia.

The Book of Knowledge of Ingenious Mechanical Devices is a medieval Arabic book written by Ismail al-Jazari in the 12th century. It describes over fifty mechanical devices and automata, including clocks, water-raising machines, musical automatons, and humanoid robots.

Al-Jazari provides detailed instructions for constructing each device and includes anecdotes and historical references. The book had a significant influence on the development of European clockmaking and automata, offering insights into daily life and technological innovations in the Islamic world during the medieval period. It’s his book that influenced key concepts of modern-day robotics.

We are building, and bringing young minds to creative innovation. We can do this together.

I enjoy the moments of travelling. Anyway, we are all travelling. Our universe is travelling in a more vast canvas and then we look down at ourselves, smile and start writing.

This was what I imagined when Mss Munir started speaking about writing with the Young Adventurers.

Well, that's the wonderful thing about storytelling, about writing, that's the thing that books can do that no other art form can do: when we read a great book we do internalize it, it becomes part of us; when we read a great book we put it down and we're different people."

I watched as their imagination came to life. I watched as they talked about blood cells, making stories out of them, wanting to go back in time, wanting to go to the future, wanting to freeze time, wanting to live underwater and wanting to smile more.

The Adam's School of AERTS Young Adventurers are really enjoying the session.

"Every great design begins with an even better story."

~ Lorinda Mamo

Seeing the smiles on the young adventurers' faces, and listening to the chat among them about design, friendship and creativity, I smiled and said nothing.

It's a wonderful time, a wonderful experience and a wonderful expression of self through colours, laughter and imagination.

Art and craft continue and Star keeps showing them the path.

Yesterday after writing codes, Adam's techies got introduced to the work of a Japanese professor of robotics.

Hiroshi Ishiguro is director of the Intelligent Robotics Laboratory which is part of the Department of Systems Innovation in the Graduate School of Engineering Science at Osaka University, Japan.

It was a 12-minute documentary. You should introduce your child to innovative things that will strengthen their imagination.

Don’t think about making art, just get it done. Let everyone else decide if it’s good or bad, whether they love it or hate it. While they are deciding, make even more art.”

~Andy Warhol

Walking into the room and seeing the level of immersion, I remembered what Andy said above and another and I smiled.

"There is no must in art because art is free.

~Wassily Kandinsky

Then my friend said, Look at my art, he smiled and asked me for a picture.

Gradually, they are creating solutions to problems while using the Agile method.

Agile is an iterative problem-solving approach that focuses on adaptability and collaboration. It breaks tasks into smaller increments, encourages continuous feedback, and allows teams to adjust their strategies based on evolving requirements. This method enhances flexibility and efficiency in tackling complex challenges.

That's the foundation we are giving to them.

As a person in tech, you have to strengthen your mind. Learn strategy, and work using agile methods. Create, have fun and solve more problems.

Our young techies are fun to be around. They know they are in for a long time and they are getting used to solving problems.

The first set of people who understood how binary numbers work changed the world.

Who knows which grand theory they'll be developing soon. Who knows if they'll finally solve global warming. Who knows.

Allow your child to join us.
