Not optional.Not “activate later.”Not something people ignore because of laziness or lack of awareness.
Imagine if without enabling 2FA, you simply could not use your WhatsApp, email, bank app, or social media platform.
Do you know how many hacked accounts, identity theft cases, and social media compromises would drastically reduce?
That is the power of SECURITY BY DESIGN.
When security is built into a system from the beginning, it becomes SECURITY BY DEFAULT.
The problem today is not just cybercrime, the problem is that many people only think about security AFTER becoming victims.
Every home, every child, every organization, every community, and every digital platform must begin to embrace Security by Design.
Children should grow with SECURITY AWARENESS.
ORGANIZATIONS should build with SECURITY PROCESSES.
APPS and WEBSITES should be developed with security embedded from the FOUNDATION.
Because anything built by DESIGN eventually becomes CULTURE BY DEFAULT.
Until security becomes a DEFAULT CULTURE and not an AFTERTHOUGHT, we may keep struggling to achieve true security in our digital and physical spaces.
