Join Us in Empowering the Future: Back to School Campaign 2024

At Sogebra Foundation, we believe in the power of education to transform lives. Last year, our "Back to School" initiative made a significant impact, encouraging countless children to return to school and pursue their dreams. This year, we are excited to announce that we are launching the campaign once again, and we need your support to make it even more impactful!

Our Mission: On September 21, 2024, we aim to provide 100 children with essential school supplies, including:
Uniforms – ₦5,000 each
School Bags – ₦4,000 each
Exercise Books & Biro Sets – ₦3,000 each
Total Cost per Child: ₦12,000
Overall Fundraising Goal: ₦1,250,000 (including logistics)

Why This Matters: Last year, we saw firsthand the joy and relief in the eyes of the children and their families as they received the support they needed to return to school. Their stories of renewed hope and determination were a testament to the power of community and the impact of education. By providing these essential resources, we helped remove barriers to education and fostered a brighter future for these young minds.

Donate Funds: Contribute towards the cost of uniforms, school bags, and stationery.

Thanks to our previous campaign, she received a new uniform, school bag, and all the necessary supplies. Amina’s eyes lit up with excitement as she prepared for her first day back in the classroom. Today, she’s excelling in her studies and dreams of becoming a doctor. Her story is just one of many, and with your support, we can create more success stories like hers.

We are happy to share that the Sogebra Foundation has been selected to participate in the 2024-2026 Cohort of the Scratch Education Collaborative (SEC)!

This selection is a proof to our commitment to empowering dreams through education. By joining this global community, we will be able to enhance our efforts in providing equitable access to creative coding opportunities for our students.

The SEC will enable us to collaborate with other like-minded organisations, sharing best practices and innovative ideas to drive positive change. We believe that together, we can make a significant impact on the future of education.

Imọta, a vibrant community in Lagos State, holds within it the dreams of countless young minds eager to explore the world of knowledge. However, the lack of resources has cast a shadow over their aspirations.

At Sogebra Foundation, we believe every child deserves access to quality education and the tools to succeed in a digital age. That's why we're launching an initiative to transform Imọta into a thriving digital hub.

But we can't do it alone. We need YOUR support to make this vision a reality. We're seeking donations for 10 complete sets of computers, desks and chairs, a projector, extensions, and everything else needed to create a dynamic learning environment.
