SAUL

1 SAMUEL 15:10-11

*I regret making Saul king, for he has turned back from following Me and has not performed My commands. And Samuel was grieved and angry [with Saul], and he cried to the Lord all night* .

It is really amazing to me. Sometimes it seems as if God is not mindful about trivial issues. One may think that God will not take such carefree life serious but God knows exactly what He looks for in a man. He knew exactly the commandment He gave to Saul.
He said, " Go... and utterly destroy...
God gives His command and He watches it executed.

God was watching Saul while he gathered his army enthusiastically and moved for battle. God watched as he lustfully selected the best of animals and spared king Agag. Then God summoned
Samuel immediately. God said, "Saul has just failed me again. I just watched him gratifying his own desire and not mine. I regret making him king"

It is a big matter for God Himself to say he regrets over a life. It is indeed a fearful thing to fall into the hands of the almighty. It is fearful for God to close the chapter over a life while the person still lives.
May you never fall into the hands of God.

Prayer
My God and my father. It is indeed fearful to fall into your hands. Many times I do things beyond or less than you expect from me. Please do not give up on me. Let your mercy and grace continue to speak on my behalf in Jesus name.

May heavens speak on your favour. May the blood of Jesus speak better things for you, today and always in Jesus name.
