2024 is running out!
Once again, lots of people are examining where they are in life versus where they want to be. This is a good thing. One mistake a lot of people make however, is when they find out that that are on a career path that brings them no joy or satisfaction, or in a relationship that is so toxic, it makes them miserable, they make the choice to stick it out and even double down, investing further in that career path or relationship with the hope that 'if I get a PhD instead of the master's degree I have, maybe I'll finally be able to make sense of this, if I have one more child in addition to the seven I already have, maybe this person will stop abusing me so and I'll finally feel safe.' No one can tell you how to run your life, but as you are making resolutions for the new year and reviewing your life choices, Please, keep this in mind. If you find yourself on a ladder you don't particularly want to be on, that you can't advice anyone you care about to climb, or even if its a good ladder but just not right for you, climbing higher will never make things better. It is never too late to get off one ladder and begin climbing the one you would rather be on.
