Success in Entrepreneurship : Beyond Passion And Ego!

Entrepreneurship is fun if one is prepared for it. It entails failures on multiple dimensions before success is achieved. Starting up involve burning one's fingers...like a baby learning the lesson of what fire is. It's a necessary and enduring learning curve.

To succeed in Entrepreneurship, you have to learn smart business skills and go through mentoring beyond having the passion for your enterprise . It takes sweat, discipline, faith, and perseverance to succeed.

To startup right and smart, you have to answer some critical questions. Your first question is What problem am I solving with my venture or business? Second, do a significant population of people experience the problem? If they do, then they need a solution. Third, what segment of the population need your solution? Fourth, what alternative solution exists in the market and how effective is it at meeting the needs of the population segment (target customer)?
Fifth, How can you deliver your solution to the customer that gives them better value (satisfactory experience) relative to what they currently experience? (The unique value proposition or USP), etc. These critical questions are called the customer problem /market survey.

The answers you get from these questions provide you the customer insight, market data, et al, that help you design your innovative solution, your value proposition, your business or profit model, your business mission and vision, your go to market (launch) strategy as well as the growth strategies...financial, operational, brand, team, human resources, etc. It's a whole bouquet and requires more than passion and the ego to own your own business.

ENOVATION : The capacity to think outside the box.

Enovation is my mint word for unbounded quest to discover new idea leading to solution of unresolved problem(s) or challenge(s).

Enovation is unbounded, unrestricted or unlimited in scope of imagination by convention, tradition, existing practice, or methodology.

Enovation is disruptive thinking in the true sense of the word and more impactful and transformative in its result than Innovation.

While Innovation has been described or defined as thinking out of the box, Enovation imagines there is no box to think out of.

Enovation is not focused on improving on existing solution but on discovering new and untried solution with radical new idea.

Enovation is the road not travelled or less travelled by human imagination or thoughts. Enovative thinkers are like orphans who have but few friends and no sibblings.

Because Enovation generates revolutionary thinking which result or outcome seems impossible or impracticable to average thinkers, society often dismiss its thoughts or ideas presented as solution to human problems.

The ideas are doubted and disregarded initially. Many of such Enovative thoughts and ideas dismissed in history turned out to wow those who dismissed it.

The world's great mysteries and challenges are often explained or solved by Enovative thinkers. Some of the known enovators recorded by history are the Wright brothers for discovering the secrete of flying a plane in the air. Thomas Edision for inventing the electric bulb. Henry Ford for building the first car. Bill Gates for developimg the software driving modern technology and so many others.

Enovative ideas are often divinely revealed to the bearer by God who uses the bearer to generate solutions that impact the whole world or society. Enovative idea solve multiple problems at once!
