I do not need to express a rancor.
Certainty must surely take its cause.
On its own, my strength has no anchor.
Why give room for anxiety to discuss?

Duties will unfold, my hands shall not fold.
I'll keep them diligently for God to empower.
Discipline shall abide with me until I am old.
I know it's not by might nor is it by power.

The birds have no farm, still they feed.
Why trouble the mind when hands can plough?
My prayers and sweat will do the duet.
The credos of hard work I diligently plow.

I've learnt to appreciate the verses of time.
Seasons will always sell their success stories.
I'll loud the lines where failure did her rhymes.
There are the necessary part of all histories.

Yesterday's past shouldn't be today's cast.
They're minor characters developing life's plot.
Life and her scenes are headlines of daily news.
Lessons from these scenes we must put to use.

I will relish the grace in diligent labor.
I won't be the frown that coats the fine me.
No! Even my insecurities will not define me.
Life is easier for those who take it easy.
