Schools Started Uploading Their Students Record To The NYSC Graduation List Recently. With Respect To That, All PCMs Should Remember That NYSC Graduation List & NYSC Senate List Are 2 Different List So Read To The End To Know The Differences Between Them And Know The One To Check To Be Qualified For The Next Online Registration.
1. WHAT IS NYSC GRADUATION LIST
This is the approved list that contains the names of students that graduated from respective Nigeria Universities and are ready for NYSC (They have been cleared by their school). The National youth service corps has made it compulsory that all Corps producing institutions are to submit their graduation list to NYSC for mobilization and documentation.
NOTE : if your name is not listed in the graduation list after you might have successfully checked, it doesn't necessarily pose a problem because your concern should be on the online senate list. Regardless you can contact your SAO to lay complaint.
- HOW TO CHECK YOUR NAME ON NYSC GRADUATION LIST.
Visit: https://portal.nysc.org.ng/nysc1/CheckInstitutionCoursesPCMs.aspx,
fill the form and Extract/Enter, it will display a form which contain the names of all the students in that institution under the batch that you selected above who have successfully graduated from your school.
2. WHAT IS NYSC SENATE LIST?
This contains the names of students already and Fully mobilised by NYSC for one-year national youth service and they are fit to carry out the online registration.
- NYSC Graduation list has the status of those eligible and those not eligible for online registration where-as, Senate list shows only those that are eligible for registration.

fill all required field and enter. Once your name is there, Smile and start preparing ahead of time with All necessary documents required for Online Registration and Camp.
This means that:
1. If your name is on NYSC Senate List And not on Graduation List (You Are Safe And Can Proceed With Online Registration When Portal Opens On 7th September 2026). Its not a problem. (and yes there have been many cases one's name don't appear on graduation list but later appear on Senate List)
2. If your name is on Graduation List and not on Senate List (You Cannot Proceed For Online Registration). Its a problem. Name appearing on graduation list and not finally appearing on senate list is not a new thing.
3. If your name is on Senate List & Graduation list (Perfectly Ok & You Can Proceed For Online Registration).
In summary, the list you should focus on is Senate List.
