REGISTRATION FOR APTITUDE TEST/SCREENING FOR UTME AND DIRECT ENTRY (DE) CANDIDATES

Umaru Musa Yar’adua University wishes to invite candidates who applied for admission as first choice candidates into the university through the year 2021 Unified Tertiary Matriculation Examination (UTME) or Direct Entry (DE) application to register for aptitude test/screening via the University website www.umyu.edu.ng.

Candidates who applied through the UTME must have scored 130 (or above) JAMB points.

Please note that only candidates listed on the mentioned website are to register. In addition, DE candidates are not to appear for aptitude test but would be screened online.

The online registration will commence on Wednesday 23rd February, 2022.

Eligible candidates are to upload the following documents on the University’s website from Wednesday 23rd February, 2022.

1. JAMB Result Slip of the year 2021 for UTME candidates or JAMB Registration Slip of the year 2021 in the case of DE candidates;

2. O’ Level Result(s);

3. Form of identification (Indigene Letter/National Identification Card/International Passport etc);

4. Direct Entry (DE) Candidates are to upload their ‘A’ Level Result (Diploma, IJMB, NCE etc).

ELIGIBILITY:

To be eligible for the aptitude test/screening, a candidate must have:
1) Scored a minimum of 130 marks or above in the 2021 UTME examination conducted by the Joint Admissions and Matriculation Board (JAMB);

2) Obtained a minimum of five (5) relevant credits at O’ level (including English and Mathematics);

3) Sat for the relevant UTME subject combination in the 2021 JAMB examination;

4) In addition to obtaining the minimum five (5) O’ level relevant credits (including English and Mathematics), Direct Entry (DE) candidates shall obtain the minimum ‘A’ Level points for the programme they applied.

MODE OF PAYMENT:

Eligible candidates are to pay the sum of N2,000.00 (all charges inclusive) for the aptitude test/sc

INTRODUCTION:

This is to inform all candidates (UTME and DIRECT ENTRY) who chose the Federal University Dutsin-Ma as their first choice for 2020/2021 Session admission to register online for the Post-UTME screening exercise.

The UTME candidates must have scored a minimum of 160 in the 2020 Unified Tertiary Matriculation Examination (UTME) in their chosen course of study except the following whose minimum Cut-off Points are 180 viz:

Political ScienceSociologyAccountingEconomics and Development StudiesMicrobiologyBiochemistry and Molecular BiologyLibrary and Information Science

The Direct Entry (DE) candidates must have at least lower credit at National Diploma and a minimum of nine (9) points at NCE and a minimum of overall score of six (6) points (with at least one point in all the courses taken) at IJMB.

PROCEDURE FOR PAYMENT AND ONLINE REGISTRATION FOR THE POST-UTME SCREENING EXERCISE

All eligible candidates are required to visit the University website: http://portal.fudutsinma.edu.ng/admissions to register and make a payment of two thousand naira (N2,000.00) only for Post-UTME screening. The Registration will commence from Monday, 7th September, 2020 and end on Sunday, 4th October, 2020 at 12:00 midnight.

You are to note that an online preliminary screening exercise would be conducted via the screening form and no admission examination will be required of you at any time. The steps required are:
