𝐌𝐢𝐭𝐨𝐜𝐡𝐨𝐧𝐝𝐫𝐢𝐚𝐥 𝐃𝐍𝐀 (𝐦𝐭𝐃𝐍𝐀) is a circular DNA in the mitochondrion (there are 100 to 500,000 mtDNA copies per human cell) that encodes 22 transfer RNAs, 2 ribosomal RNAs, and 13 protein subunits, all of which are involved in the oxidative phosphorylation pathway. The mitochondrion is composed of proteins encoded by these genes, together with proteins encoded by nuclear genes. Mitochondria, and thus mtDNA and mtDNA disease, are maternally inherited. In many patients with mitochondrial disease, mtDNA with a pathogenic mtDNA variant coexists with mtDNA without the variant (a state termed heteroplasmy). Clinical symptoms depend on the extent of heteroplasmy in vulnerable tissues; symptoms occur only when the threshold for a pathogenic variant is exceeded. In some patients with mitochondrial disease, 100% of their mtDNA carries the pathogenic variant (a state termed homoplasmy).

7 HACKS.....

To help you avoid dehydration and heat exhaustion when it’s extra hot.

1. Drink more water. Target 2 to 3 glasses every 3 to 4 hours. If your urine is yellow or darker drink more water.

2. Eat water rich foods like oranges, watermelon, pineapples, cucumber. They have both water and important minerals

3. Eat smaller meals especially when it’s cooler. Eating heavy meals when at hottest times and before going outside can make your body react worse to heat.

4. Avoid sugar, soda, sugary drinks and caffeinated beverages like energy drinks. These dehydrate the body more.

5. Drink less alcohol.

6. Avoid wearing tight clothing including tight underwear.

7. Take cold showers and sleep naked.

🔍10 signs to INDICATE your KIDNEYS Health state⬇️⬇️⬇️

Here are a few signs that might indicate your kidneys are not functioning properly:

1. Changes in Urination:

Pay attention to changes in your urination patterns. This could include more frequent urination, difficulty urinating, or changes in the color and smell of your urine.

2. Swelling:

Kidney problems can lead to swelling in your legs, ankles, feet, face, or hands due to the body retaining extra fluid (edema).

3.Fatigue and Weakness:

Healthy kidneys produce a hormone called erythropoietin, which helps in the production of red blood cells. Kidney problems can lead to anemia, causing fatigue and weakness.

4.Shortness of Breath:

Kidney disease can lead to fluid buildup in the lungs, causing shortness of breath.

5.Itching and Skin Rashes:

Kidney failure can cause waste products to accumulate in the blood, leading to skin problems like itching and rashes.

6. High Blood Pressure:

Kidneys play a role in regulating blood pressure. Chronic kidney disease can lead to high blood pressure or can be a result of high blood pressure.

7.Nausea and Vomiting:

Buildup of waste products in the body can cause nausea and vomiting.

8. Metallic Taste in Mouth:

Kidney dysfunction can lead to a metallic taste in the mouth and bad breath.

9. Blood in Urine:

This is a sign that there might be a problem with your kidneys or urinary tract and should be evaluated by a healthcare professional.

Puffiness Around Eyes:

Swelling (edema) around the eyes, especially in the morning, can be a sign of kidney problems.

If you are experiencing any of these symptoms or have concerns about your kidney health, it's important to see a healthcare provider.

They can perform tests, such as blood and urine tests, to assess your kidney function and provide appropriate guidance based on your specific situation.

Regular check-ups and maintaining a healthy lifestyle, including staying hydrated, exercising, and managing conditions like diabetes and high blood pressure, can also support kidney health. Follow us on our page EASY medics and be good to others by this knowledge.

Cycloakanes break down🥇🥇

Cycloalkanes are a type of organic compounds that consist of a closed ring of carbon atoms, with each carbon atom being bonded to two other carbon atoms in the ring. They are considered saturated hydrocarbons because they contain only single bonds.

Cycloalkanes are similar to alkanes, which are hydrocarbons with carbon atoms arranged in a straight chain. However, cycloalkanes have a ring structure, which introduces unique properties and characteristics.

The general formula for cycloalkanes is CnH2n, where "n" represents the number of carbon atoms in the ring. For example, cyclopropane has 3 carbon atoms and the molecular formula is C3H6, while cyclohexane has 6 carbon atoms and the molecular formula is C6H12.

The properties of cycloalkanes depend on the size of the ring and the arrangement of its atoms. As the size of the ring increases, cycloalkanes tend to become more stable and less reactive. Small cycloalkanes, such as cyclopropane and cyclobutane, have more pronounced ring strain and are more reactive compared to larger cycloalkanes, such as cyclopentane and cyclohexane.

Cycloalkanes can undergo various chemical reactions, similar to alkanes. These reactions include combustion, halogenation, and substitution. The reactivity and stability of cycloalkanes can be influenced by factors such as ring strain, strain relief, and steric hindrance.

Cycloalkanes have numerous applications in different industries. They are commonly used as solvents, fuels, and starting materials in the synthesis of various chemicals, pharmaceuticals, and materials. Additionally, the unique structures and properties of cycloalkanes make them important in the study of organic chemistry and for understanding the behavior of cyclic compounds in nature and in the laboratory

I hope this provides you with a better understanding of cycloalkanes. If you have any more specific questions or would like to explore any particular aspect, feel free to ask!
