I’m honoured to be featured in Vanguard—but even more excited about the conversation this feature is meant to 🔥 .
Too many women feel like they have to choose between motherhood and leadership. I believe we can rise while mothering.
Through this article, I share my personal journey of navigating leadership in education and faith while raising a family—and I hope it encourages another woman to say “yes” to the call in her heart. ❤️
So many incredible women are already doing powerful things across Nigeria. My mission is to stir this conversation further—to shine a light on what’s possible when we lead with grace and grit.
This is more than a feature—it’s a movement.
Let’s talk about it.

I was privileged to visit the land of Egypt. Coming face to face with the Pyramids, one of the great wonders of the world, I was completely blown away with the architecture. “How did the mind of these humans work?” I pondered within…
One particular discovery that struck me was:
📍The king begins to meticulously prepare for his afterlife as soon as he ascends the throne through elaborate rituals and practices. This involved mummification, building grand tombs and temples, and equipping the deceased with goods and magical items to aid their journey.
Now, I pose the question to us believers— “how many of us can confidently say we are preparing for eternity?”
Egyptian Kings will spend 25-30 years preparing for an after life but we keep procrastinating building a solid relationship with Jesus. Because we are infatuated with the false belief that we should enjoy our lives now and begin preparations in old age, as if we have control over our days.
This visit was a great wake up call to intentionality, how am I preparing to meet my bridegroom?
Who am I carrying along in this process?
What fruits am I bearing?
How am I relevant to God’s agenda in the present age?
Dear Disciples, be prepared!!!!!!
Share this with a friend or family that will be blessed and awakened by this message 💗

Before you are a leader, success is all about growing yourself. When you become a leader, success is all about growing others.” – Jack Welch
At Jewels Leading Lights Schools, leadership is not just a role—it’s a culture.
As we gear up for a brand-new term, our dedicated leadership team gathered for our termly leaders’ retreat and training—a core part of our school culture. It was a time to reflect on the wins and lessons of the past term, recalibrate, and prepare intentionally for the next.
We were deeply enriched by The Oracle Himself alongside his team . His insights stirred fresh passion and vision in us as leaders raising the next generation.
We don’t just teach leadership—we live it.

Every year, we host an unforgettable Easter Camp experience, and this year, we spiced things up—and it was absolutely glorious!
But beyond the fun and fellowship, there were some sobering eye-openers:
📌 As a perfectionist, I love to plan—but this year reminded me again that the Holy Spirit must always take the lead. His plan is always better.
📍 Bible illiteracy is on the rise. Many teens don’t even know the full Easter story. We can’t assume they know—we must teach.
‼️ Many parents seem to be forgetting their role as God’s stewards. Several children came without Bibles, and some parents only allowed their kids to come if their friends were also attending. Since when did the Christian walk become about moving with the crowd?
Perhaps the most heartbreaking—so many teens said they can’t talk to their parents about matters of the heart. They fear being judged and “sentenced.”
We’ve got work to do—as the church, as parents, and as mentors. Let’s rise to it!

Yesterday, something powerful happened—impact came on wheels.
I had the honor of speaking, co-anchoring, and being part of an unforgettable experience at the BTS Executive Summit in Abuja.
From the Thought Exchange, where each speaker shared a word on GEM, to the Visionary Exchange, where panelists dropped deep, strategic tools to help us defy limitations—it was clear: this was no ordinary event.
I co-anchored the event and trust me, I’ve done many things—but never this. (More thoughts on that soon 😌)
One session that stood out for me was the Perception Analysis, which I had the privilege to anchor, and the eye-opening debate on *“Never judge a book by its cover”—does this really apply in the marketplace?* Spoiler alert: it was revealing, reflective, and very real.
This was more than an event—it was a divine convergence.
To the amazing committee, you guys rock!
To my mentor, , thank you for curating such a transformational summit.
It was an honor to serve, plan, and partake in it all.
