This is to inform us that the President and Commander-in-Chief of the Armed Forces, the Federal Republic of Nigeria has approved the conferment of the National Productivity Order of Merit(NPOM) Award on one of our own, Mall. Denja Abdullahi (ANA).
He is the second Oworo to receive this Award after Engr. S. Bello. The Foundation is proud of his outstanding contributions and accomplishments to the Literary world and Art/culture. We congratulate him and pray for his long life in good condition of health.

The family of Alhaji Hamidu Denja Abdullahi( Alh. NSO) has announced the passing on of their mother Hajia Mayo Abdullahi this afternoon.
The Oworo Foundation members and the BOT commiserate with @⁨Ana President⁩ the national President Emeritus) and Alh. Mumuni Denja Abdullahi( Across) and the family and pray to Allah to comfort them and grant the deceased Aljannah Firdaus.

CONDOLENCES.
The entire members of The Oworo Foundation commiserate with one of us Mr Role Omanoba and his family on the demise of his father Ya Abdullahi Omanoba whose sad event occurred on the 30th of March. May Allah repose the soul of the departed and grant him Al Jannah Firdaus. We pray to Allah to grant Mr. Role and the family the fortitude to bear the irreparable loss.

The Secretariat, members and indeed BOT members of The Foundation stand with you in prayers at this moment of family grief.

HAPPY NEW YEAR!

We give thanks to God for giving us the grace to witness 2023. We survived 2022 despite social, economic, and security challenges that bewildered the nation as well as domestic travails that we were confronted with. We are glad that we are moving forward and The Foundation would not relent in giving tenacity to the realization of the vision and goal of our organization.
2. The Foundation believes that this year shall be very profound in many ramifications, especially given the fact that General Elections at State and Federal levels. May God keep us even beyond the dates.
3. The Foundation is particularly thankful for your support and encouragement and we hope it will be sustained. The Secretariat would release the colloquium documents for ratification and presentation to BoT.
4. Once again, the Secretariat and Board of Trustees felicitate everyone on the occasion of the New Year and wish all a prosperous 2023.
