We completed Week 7 of the LCI Cloud Guardians 1.0 Cybersecurity Training, diving into the core of Security Operations Center (SOC) activities and real-time threat management.

We completed Week 6 of the LCI Cloud Guardians 1.0 Cybersecurity Training, where the focus shifted to Web Application Security and real-world cyber defense practices.

This session combined theoretical insights with practical demonstrations, reinforcing the importance of hands-on learning in cybersecurity.

Understanding web application architecture and how web systems communicate

Exploring common attack surfaces such as login forms, input fields, URLs, and file uploads

Deep dive into the OWASP Top 10 vulnerabilities, including:

SQL Injection

Cross-Site Scripting (XSS)

Security Misconfiguration

Real-world discussions on social engineering and password security, emphasizing how attackers exploit human behavior

Using ZAP (Zed Attack Proxy) for vulnerability scanning
