I want you all to be mindful of your security. Listen to news regularly, please.
The country is going through very difficult and unsafe times. Presently, there are calls from foreign concerns to declare Nigeria a failed state. This is because of the level of insecurity present in the country presently.

We all need to be concerned about our safety. Do not say it can never happen to me. No one is safe. Relatives of the President had been kidnapped; Men of God; Security men; etc. No one is safe; nowhere is safe. Let us try and observe strict security protocols together with our prayers.

*ONE*
I would like to advise you all never to stay out of the house late.
Come back home or stay close to your house latest 6pm

*TWO*
Be careful on how you travel in marked vehicles at all times. Be circumspect on the security context of the area and time you use marked or branded vehicles, for example, vehicles bearing names, company logos, etc.

*THREE*
Do not travel in groups. If you are to go for a programme, move in little groups of two to three; and in staggered movement.

*FOUR*
If your area is being, for whatever reason, attacked switch off all lights, including any switch with lights no matter how tiny. Remove all jewelry on your body and wrap your phone in a cloth to prevent light reflection that can betray your position.
If you hear gunshot, leave your bed and lie flat under the bed and away from your window. Get out of sight. Lie close to any wall.

*FIVE*
Do not take a ride in any vehicle that you don't know. Rather, take public transportation at parks and other designated places.

*SIX*
When you go out, dress normal and neat, not flashy. Never wear any clothes that can get you noticed or identified.

*SEVEN*
If you are going anywhere, tell at least one person where you are going and the expected time of your arrival there and return home. Where possible, do not go alone.

Good Morning to all our parents. We bless God for seeing us through a successful second term. We kindly appreciate our parents also for the support they gave to the school during the term. The school closed yesterday April 6 and the school will be resuming back for 3rd term academics session April 25 by God's Grace. We sincerely appreciate our parents and we pray that may the good Lord in his infinite mercy continually meet our demands.

I went for a job interview on Wednesday. And I failed. 32 of us, out of 34 failed at the screening.

I arrived at the venue at 7:37 AM. That's some minutes before 8 AM that we were told to arrive. I felt they might consider punctuality among the qualities to be used.

At 9 AM, we were address by the director. And he told us they would be employing anyone who scored a 100% at the short test we were to take. Anything less than 100, you're disqualified.

Before we were served the question papers, we were told we have only 1 minute. The questions were a bit cheap. 10 questions in all. So at the start time, we all began rushing to beat time. Some of us finished the 10 questions, others couldn't.

When the HR manager collected our scripts, he went through all in a jiffy. And he separated only 2 scripts out as he went through them. Only those 2 had passed.

At first, we were stunned at how he went through 34 scripts in less than 2 minutes and graded us all. Then he told us, there was an instruction at the top of the question, "Answer only number 8."

The director came out and congratulated the 2 people who had cared to read instruction even with limited time given. That was how the both of them were employed.

I learnt a valuable lesson though: in life, always read/follow instruction. Finishing a task is not as important as doing it as you were/are told to. Please let's ring this into the ears of our children even as they prepare to write examination. God will grant them the grace to follow instructions .
