Up School!
Great NHOSA!!

As we enter the sacred seasons of Ramadan and Lent, I extend my warmest wishes to all our Muslim and Christian members.

May this period of fasting, prayer, reflection, and self-discipline renew your faith, strengthen your spirit, and fill your homes with peace and blessings.

Ramadan reminds us of compassion, sacrifice, and generosity, while Lent calls us to repentance, love, and deeper devotion. Though observed differently, both seasons share powerful values that unite us—faith, humility, kindness, and service to humanity.

As members of one association, let us use this special time to foster greater unity, mutual respect, and understanding among us. May our diversity continue to be our strength, and may we work together in harmony for the betterment of our association and humanity at large.

Wishing you all a spiritually fulfilling Ramadan and a grace-filled Lenten season.

*APPEAL NOTE*

Dear Sets Chairmen,

On behalf of the Association, I sincerely appreciate your continuous commitment and leadership in sustaining the vision and unity of our great alumni body. Your roles as Sets Chairmen remain vital to the progress and effectiveness of the National body of the Association.

I hereby humbly appeal to you, whose Sets have outstanding financial obligations, to kindly make efforts to settle these bills as soon as possible. Timely remittance of these dues will significantly strengthen our collective capacity to fund our planned activities, meet our administrative responsibilities, and respond promptly to pressing needs that concern our alma mater and alumni community.

The success of the National body depends largely on the cooperation and support of every Set. When all obligations are fulfilled, we are better positioned to plan effectively, execute impactful programs, and uphold the credibility and integrity of our Association.

I therefore seek your understanding and cooperation in this regard and I trust in your leadership to encourage your members to do the needful. Together, we can continue to build a stronger, more vibrant alumni body that we can all be proud of.

Contact the National Treasurer, Mr Ogunbona Ibrahim, FCA @⁨Ibrahim Oba 99⁩ for your bills and reconcile ur financial records with him appropriately.

Thank you for your continued support and dedication.

Yours sincerely,

*Ibrahim Nasir*
*NHOSA PRESIDENT*

*NOTE OF GRATITUDE*

On behalf of the Alumni Association and the entire school community, I hereby express my heartfelt gratitude to the Chairman and all members of 1998 set for their generous support in paying the WAEC examination fees worth around Three hundred thousand Naira ( #300,000:00) for ten candidates of our alma mater. No doubt, this thoughtful and timely intervention has lifted a significant burden off the students and their families, while also giving the intending candidates renewed confidence and hope to face their examinations with focus and determination.

Dear Unique Set, your action is a clear demonstration of true alumni spirit — one that remembers where it came from and is committed to giving others a fair chance to succeed. I sincerely commend your set for this outstanding gesture of service and responsibility. It is our hope that this noble example will inspire other sets within the Alumni Association to emulate this initiative, so that together we can continue to bridge gaps, support indigent students, and uplift our school collectively.

Once again, thank you for your generosity and continued commitment to the growth and progress of our alma mater.

May your set continue to be a source of pride and positive impact.

With deepest appreciation,

Ibrahim Nasir
NHOSA President

A building of 3 classrooms is certain to be erected in the school soonest.

This is facilitated by Hon. Wasiu Igbalaye with the help of Hon Lanre Sowunmi (Lasem) and Hon. Mohammed Ali, Education Secretary Abeokuta South LGEA.

A team came to check for a suitable space for the building, unfortunately President had left the school before they arrived.

Before he left, he discussed with the Acting Principal and they both chose to demolish the two buildings after the Home Economics Laboratory.

Hon Ali visited and President spoke to him on the readiness of the Old Students to prepare the space for the project.

We would recall that the Ministry had already given the go-ahead to demolish since last year without any provision for the demolition in which we took the step to demolished the two buildings.

Dear Esteemed members,

I would like to express my sincere gratitude to each and every one of you, particularly the AGM committee members ably led by Comrade Ismail Dipeolu, who is also the Chairman of 1998 set, for your contributions to our Annual General Meeting. Your active participation and generous support have made this year's event a resounding success.

Your dedication to our association's mission and values is truly commendable, and I am grateful for your tireless efforts in advancing our association's shared goals.

My gratitude is also extended to the Electoral committee members for their dedications. Your selflessness and commitment to our association are inspiring.

The National Executive members are proud to have members like you who embody the spirit of collaboration, innovation, and excellence. We look forward to continuing our work together and achieving even greater heights in the years to come.

Permit me to remind us that the fund-raising continues, so let us make contacts to our intended-donors who didn't show up at the event due to their engagements but they could still donate to help our projects. I have directed the Financial Secretary and the Treasurer to give the account of the amount donated from now till the end of May. We shall have the report at the JUNE NEC meeting. Then we shall decide on what project to spend the money on.

Let me also congratulate the Millennium (2000) Set on the celebration of their 25th Anniversary. I pray God to grant the members of set 2000 long life to celebrate more.

My gratitude would not be complete if I fail to acknowledge the supports of my Constituency, 1995 set, the Achievers' set. May God bless u all. My People! My Pride!!

Thank you all once again for your contributions to our Annual General Meeting.

Best regards,

Ibrahim Babatunde Nasir
