*One day, your child will start making money decisions without you* .
They'll receive their first salary.
Get their first allowance.
Start a business.
Get their first bank account.
Spend money with friends.
See opportunities online.
And you won't always be there to tell them โ *don't do that* .โ
The question is: *Have you taught them how to make the right financial decisions when you're not there?*
Because we spend years preparing our children academically for the future, but rarely prepare them financially.
*That is why MMT exists.*
Our *Money Management for Teens Bootcamp* is designed to help teenagers

Many Nigerian business owners think filing CAC Annual Returns means they are fully compliant.
Thatโs not true.
There are two different annual filings every business must understand:
๐ CAC Annual Returns
This is filed with the Corporate Affairs Commission to confirm your business still exists legally.
Itโs about your companyโs status and structure.
๐ Tax Annual Returns
This is filed with FIRS (or State IRS) to report your income, profit, and tax obligations.
It includes your financial statements and tax computations.
๐ Simple way to understand it:
CAC = โWe are still in businessโ
Tax = โThis is what we earned and oweโ
โ ๏ธ Filing one does NOT replace the other.
Iโve seen businesses get penalized simply because they assumed both are the same.
Stay compliant. Stay informed.

If you are a Large Taxpayer, this is your signal to act; not later, not next month. Now.
The Nigeria Revenue Service has officially commenced compliance monitoring under the National E-Invoicing (EFS) Regime, with a deadline of 31 July 2026.
To stay compliant, your business must complete these 5 critical steps:
1๏ธโฃ Onboard on the NRS Merchant Buyer Solution (MBS)
2๏ธโฃ Integrate your system via an approved APP or Systems Integrator
3๏ธโฃ Complete validation and testing
4๏ธโฃ Begin real-time invoice transmission to the NRS platform
5๏ธโฃ Ensure all invoices carry a valid IRN (Invoice Reference Number)
โ ๏ธ This is no longer preparation phase; itโs enforcement phase.
If your business has not started, you are already behind.
The question is simple:
Are you ready, or are you at risk?

๐ถ๐ป ๐ก๐ถ๐ด๐ฒ๐ฟ๐ถ๐ฎ: What You Should Know
Nigeria's new tax framework provides Companies Income Tax (CIT) exemptions for certain organisations that serve public, charitable, religious, educational, or mutual-interest purposes.

If such organisations generate income from commercial or profit-making activities, that income may still be subject to tax.
1)Friendly societies
2)Registered cooperative societies
3)Public educational organisations
4)Religious organisations
5)Charitable organisations
6)Registered trade unions
7)Federal, State & Local Governments (including MDAs)
8)Government purchasing authorities
Key takeaway:
Being an exempt organisation does not mean every source of income is tax-free. Revenue from commercial activities may still attract Companies Income Tax under the Nigeria Tax Act. Organisations should maintain proper accounting records and regularly review their income streams to remain compliant.
Understanding the distinction between exempt income and taxable commercial income is becoming increasingly important as Nigeria strengthens tax compliance.
