HAVILAH SCHOOL HOSTS SEMINAR ON E-LEARNING AND ARTIFICIAL INTELLIGENCE IN MODERN TEACHING
Today at Havilah School, teachers gathered for an insightful and transformative seminar on E-Learning for Teachers, focusing on the theme:
“Teaching Smarter with AI: Empowering Teachers for Effective Modern Education”
The seminar explored the role of Artificial Intelligence (AI) in modern teaching practice and how emerging technologies can help teachers improve lesson preparation, classroom engagement, assessment, research, and the overall learning experience of pupils.
The training provided teachers with practical knowledge on how to use digital tools and AI responsibly as assistants in the teaching process, while maintaining the important human qualities of teaching—creativity, compassion, discipline, mentorship, and personal interaction.
Participants were introduced to ways AI can support teachers in:
Preparing lesson plans and teaching materials
Creating engaging classroom activities
Developing quizzes, assignments, and assessments
Simplifying difficult concepts for learners
Supporting differentiated learning
Saving time on routine academic tasks
Generating creative teaching ideas
Improving digital literacy and research skills
The seminar also emphasized that AI is not designed to replace teachers, but to empower them to teach more effectively and efficiently.
