This little girl called Heritage Ben is something else.
Ever since my mother gave birth to me, I have never seen a child so deeply in love with mathematics like this little star, Heritage Ben. This girl isn’t just smart she’s unstoppable. At her young age, Heritage ben solves problems with the confidence of a university student. She doesn’t fear numbers she challenges them!

But here’s what makes her truly different: her attitude. Her passion. Her hunger to understand, to grow, to become better every day. While others run away from difficult math questions, Heritage ben runs towards them. She’s not just learning math she’s living it.

So I’m calling on YOU yes, YOU reading this! Let her fire ignite your own. Let her example be your push. Start practicing. Start asking questions. Start thinking differently.

Congratulations on Your SSCE Graduation!

We often think the hardest part of parenting will be managing our child’s behaviour — �the meltdowns, the resistance, the chaos…

But the real work?

What truly stretches us is staying present when we feel triggered.�
It’s staying calm when every part of you wants to react.
It’s pausing before the words you can’t take back.
It’s holding the boundary without losing ourselves in the process.�It’s keeping our hearts open, even when our patience is wearing thin.

The real challenge isn’t controlling them — it’s regulating ourselves. This is where most of us were never taught what to do.�
We weren’t given the tools to pause, to ground, to respond with intention instead of reaction.�
But that doesn’t mean it’s too late.

This is the work. And it can be learned.�Step by step. Layer by layer.

And when it is — it changes everything.💖

Don't try to raise a child who never makes mistakes. Aim for one who is brave enough to own them.

Many people see mistakes as bad things to hide, especially when everyone wants to be perfect. But there's another way to think about how kids learn from errors.

The real focus isn't on raising kids who never mess up. That's impossible and can make them afraid to try anything. Instead, the idea is to raise kids brave enough to say when they've made a mistake. This way doesn't mean mistakes are okay, but it helps them learn a very important quality: being responsible for what they do.

When kids learn to say they were wrong, they learn more than just "sorry." They learn to be honest, to have good character, and to be strong enough to face what happens next. This shows that real strength isn't about being perfect, but about having the inner strength to face what they did and learn from it.

This way of thinking helps them bounce back from tough times. It teaches them to solve problems and to care about others, because they understand how their actions affect people. Owning mistakes turns bad moments into great chances to grow and get better. It builds a strong base for good character and real self-respect.

With this understanding, children learn to be okay with not being perfect, to fall, and most importantly, to get back up with new knowledge. They see that being responsible isn't a heavy load, but a way to become responsible, confident, and truly able adults. We’re told to praise children for being easy.
�For staying quiet.�For following rules without question.�For not making a fuss. Not speaking up. Not pushing back.

But what happens when those same children become adults?

We wonder why they struggle to advocate for themselves.�Why they burn out trying to please everyone.�Why they ignore their own needs to keep the peace.�Why they stay silent in relationships that hurt.

And we call it a lack of confidence.�We call it low self-worth.�We call it something to unlearn in therapy.

But maybe it’s not a flaw.�Maybe it was conditioning.�
The kind that starts when we reward compliance — instead of nurturing confidence.

Let’s stop praising kids for being easy to manage.�
Let’s start honouring who they really are.

Because the world doesn’t need more silence.�It needs people who know HOW to speak up — and feel safe doing so. ❤️
