The Footwear Academy is a footwear production school for individuals interested in the art of footwear making. We offer various intensive shoemaking programs, one-on-one training and a "learn by doing" process to ensure our students get the best of the program. Our program is aimed specifically at individuals who want to acquire a lifetime skill that will help them become financially independent.

Hands-on at Workshop II.

Two days ago, the Crafted Connections team took another huge step forward at the workbench! The second workshop was all about technical precision: pattern drafting for uppers and insoles, sole preparation, wrapping insoles in fiancé leather, and cutting out fabric uppers.

Step by step, raw materials are turning into real footwear, and the teamwork between our delegates keeps getting stronger!

German Kitchen Takeover in Lagos!

Exchange programs are about more than just craft; they’re about community! Yesterday, our German delegates treated the Crafted Connections team to traditional home cooking:

- Breakfast: German Vollkornbrot (whole grain bread) with scrambled eggs.
- Dinner: Mashed potatoes, savory vegetable sauce, and sausages.
