In alignment with our mission to translate classroom learning into real-world solutions, a group of our students successfully completed a project focusing on strategies to mitigate rural-to-urban migration, using Umuojima village, Obingwa LGA, as a practical case study.
The project was presented to the Department of Urban and Regional Planning for expert review.

Following this, they were granted an audience with the Honorable Commissioner for Lands and Housing, Mr. Chaka Chukwumerije, who commended the quality and relevance of their project work.

We extend our sincere gratitude to the Ministry of Lands and Housing and the Department of Urban and Regional Planning for their gracious welcome and for enriching our students' understanding of this critical subject matter.
