The first book I want you to read is "Why you act the way you do, by Tim Lahaye"

It's a book that will not only help you to better understand yourself; from your strength to your weaknesses, ways to handle them without seeing them as a flaw or fault.

It will help you understand your fellow humans as most of us are a handful; difficult to deal with. It will as well teach you ways to better understand them and treat them accordingly by putting good construction to every of their behaviours not to let things get under your skin.
