Correct answer: C — She doesn't like reading books. ✅

Remember: After doesn't, we use the base form of the verb:
👉 doesn't like ✔️
👉 doesn't likes ❌

My parents forced me to learn Igbo.

That was what my learner told me during our class yesterday.

And honestly, it made me think…

What if we don't wait until our children are older before introducing them to their native language?

When children start early, learning becomes natural. They grow up hearing it, speaking it, understanding it and eventually appreciating it.

Don't wait until your child says,
“I don't understand Igbo.”

Start with simple words.
Start with greetings.
Start with songs.
Start with everyday conversations.

Let them grow with their language, not struggle to reconnect with it later.

Your child's mother tongue is not just a subject. It's a part of their identity.

Parents, start early. Ọ dịghị mgbe ọ ga-adị n'azụ.

POV: I choose a class time that clashes with a wedding because my learner said they would attend. 😭😂

So I sacrifice the wedding.

I sit down, ready for class. Laptop open. Materials ready. ✍🏽💻

Class time: Learner nowhere to be found. 👻😂

Me: So I missed a whole wedding for THIS?😭😂😂

How Do You Know a Good Tutor? 🎓

A good tutor does more than explain a lesson.

They:

💙 Are patient and encouraging
💙 Use engaging activities and resources
💙 Track the child’s progress
💙 Communicate with parents
💙 Help the child build confidence, not just get good grades

The right tutor doesn’t just teach a child. They help the child believe, “I can do this!”

IS YOUR CHILD STRUGGLING TO READ?

Sometimes, the problem isn't that your child is not intelligent.

The problem may be that we are giving them too much at once.

Look at this simple progression

They.
They see.
They see a.
They see a goat.
They see a goat near.
They see a goat near grass.

This is how we can make reading feel less frightening and more achievable for a child.

Don't rush the sentence. Build the sentence.

Give your child small wins.

When a child can successfully read one small sentence today, they become more confident to attempt a longer one tomorrow.

YOUR CHILD IS STRUGGLING IN SCHOOL? PLEASE READ THIS.

Dear Parent,

If your child is finding Mathematics difficult, struggling to read, making mistakes in English, or taking longer than others to understand lessons, please don't label them as lazy or unintelligent.

Academic difficulty does not mean a child cannot succeed.

Sometimes, your child simply needs:
💙 A different teaching approach
💙 More patience and practice
💙 One-on-one attention
💙 Encouragement instead of criticism
💙 Someone who can identify exactly where they are struggling

Instead of saying, You are not serious with your studies, try asking:

Which part is difficult for you? Let me help you.

A child's confidence can make a huge difference in their academic performance.

Don't wait until examinations are around the corner before seeking help.

Early support can turn academic struggles into academic progress.

Every child can learn. Sometimes, they just need the right support.
