THE 2008 SET GIVES BACK: A LEGACY OF GRATITUDE, SERVICE & COMMUNITY
Some moments remind us that education is not only about what a school gives to its students, but also about what those students eventually give back. ❤️💙
The 2008 Set of St. Joseph Comprehensive Secondary School, Aba recently returned to their alma mater in a remarkable demonstration of love, gratitude and community service. The set generously paid the school fees of seven (7) students and two (2) pupils, giving nine young learners the opportunity to continue their education with greater peace of mind.
Representatives of the 2008 Set were welcomed alongside the parents and guardians of the beneficiaries and the children themselves—a gathering that beautifully captured the meaning of giving back.
This is more than the payment of school fees. It is a reminder that the impact of a school can travel far beyond its classrooms. Years after leaving the school, the 2008 Set has returned to invest in the lives of children who are walking the same paths they once walked.
From students, to alumni, to community builders.
We celebrate the 2008 Set for choosing to make their success a bridge for others. May this act of kindness inspire more sets, individuals, organisations and well-meaning members of our community to invest in the education and future of our children.
This is what legacy looks like.
This is what community service looks like.
This is what giving back means. ❤️💙
