Yesterday, the Labour Party House of Assembly Candidate for Obingwa East State Constituency, (Agalaba), Hon. Peter Chigozie Azubuike, stormed the Graduation Ceremony of the United Evangelical Nursery/ Primary School Ntighauzo, despite his busy schedule.
The management, staff and pupils of the school gave him a hearty welcome and the candidate, in recognition and encouragement of academic excellence and hardwork, offered a handful of pupils scholarship. This is in keeping with his commitment to advancing education in the constituency.

Government action affects a large area of our lives — the education and health service we get, the water and power supply, transport and communication facilities. Even the taxes and levies we pay. If this be the case, then, it makes sense to say that "even if you choose not to be interested in politics nor who emerges from the process, politics will be interested in you." Its tentacles extend into even the deepest aspects of our being. The case of Abia state has shown us that the punishment of the good men who refuse to take part in politics is to be ruled by monstrous men.
Peter Obi is coming!
Alex Otti is coming!
Peter Azubuike is coming!

Mr. Kelvin, the supervisor sent to Ward 10 confessed that the original result sheet was not given to him!!

My Good people of Obingwa LGA,
Elections and other political processes are pivotal to the quality of a country’s governance and can either greatly advance or set back a country’s long-term democratic development.
The most fundamental principle defining credible elections is that they must reflect the free expression of the will of the people.
To achieve this, elections should be transparent, inclusive, and accountable, and there must be equitable opportunities to compete in the elections.
These and more were non existent in the just concluded election which was a mere selection process by the PDP against the will of the people. Voter apathy marred the local government polls in the state and we would strongly resist this move to deprive the people of their fundamental right.
In Obingwa LGA, elections did not hold or sensitive materials arrived late and came already tampered with. In Ward 10, the result sheet that was brought had number 1 up to 289 already removed and that was the report we got from other electoral wards. My good people of Obingwa, we need to stand and refuse this daylight robbery. I won't back down, I won't waste your efforts and confidence you placed in me.
I call on Absiec to savour their remaining integrity, if they had any at first and cancel this charade they called election which was a mere reappointment of pdp local government financial chutes to keep siphoning the funds meant to develop the local government area. Mr Kelvin the Absiec supervisor sent to Ward 10, confessed that the original result sheets were not given to him, that what he came with was what was given to him. This interview was covered by Magic FM. This is a reflection of what happened in the entire wards that make up Obingwa LGA. I promise not to fold my hands and watch our people disenfranchised, and the destiny of our children toyed with. It's high time somebody speaks up. Prof Mkpa's led administration shamelessly manufactured a result that doesn't show the will of the people, a result that said APC got only 5 votes. The election was just a movie created to find a dishonourable means of placing PDP loyalists as chairmen and continue their business of running Abia state to a halt. We will not accept it this time.
no to electoral fraud.

Good morning great people of Obingwa.
The youth would be our focal point when elected into office.
Nigeria has a young population with about 70% below the age of 35, and sadly it appears Nigeria don't have plans for the youth. But we can turn the soaring numbers of youth to our advantage if we get them trained, empowered and involved in economic activities.
When elected, We will include the youth in our decision-making processes, honor the youth voice, understand and implement their honest opinions and ideas and be willing to share your adult power and privilege in order to make the community a better place for both young people and adults alike.
When the youth are “empowered,” they have the skills, critical awareness, and opportunities to positively impact their own lives and the lives of other individuals, organizations, and communities.
The beneficial outcomes to youth empowerment programs are improved social skills, improved behavior, increased academic achievement, increased self-esteem and increased self-efficacy.
Obingwa deserves a better life

Good people of Obingwa, Good afternoon. Our plans as regards education include ensuring fair access to education and training opportunities, as well as other social goals such as reducing the inequalities that result from socio-economic disadvantage.
Ensuring the Primary education in Nigeria
1. “Inculcate permanent literacy numeracy and the ability to communicate effectively
2. Lay a sound basis for scientific, critical and reflective thinking
3. Promote patriotism, fairness, understanding and national unity
4. Install social, moral norms and values in the child.
5. Develop in the child the ability to adapt to the changing environment
6. Provide opportunities for the child to develop life manipulative skills that will enable the child function effectively in the society within the limits of the child’s capability"
Our administration will work on the relationship between the tiers of government especially state and local government, to
move away from master/ servant relationship to that of partners in progress in delivery concurrent functions particularly in primary education delivery. Necessary accolade would be accorded each tier of government proportionally.
We would have a way of giving subvention to private primary school in their jurisdictions, so as make all pupils benefit from government intervention in one way or the other.
We will create a scheme to reward the best 15 students from each ward free SSCE registration with soft landings to start up their university education.
This is not rocket science, Obingwa people deserve a better life.
Vote APC,
Vote Hon. Peter Chigozie Azubuike.
Vote for a change from unfavourable status quo.
