At a recent Have a Heart Namibia - Spay and Neuter Project spay day in Walvis Bay, something special happened. Alongside the vaccinations and sterilisations, children received a copy of Pako Kids Magazine, planting little seeds of knowledge about kindness, care, and responsibility.
Because when a child learns that a pet is not “just an animal,” but a life that depends on them… everything changes.
They grow into adults who vaccinate, sterilise, and protect.
Today it’s a magazine in small hands.
Tomorrow it’s a generation that cares better.
And that’s how we change the future - one child, one pet, one lesson at a time.

This little boy arrived at a Have a Heart Namibia - Spay and Neuter Project spay day with his parent and his beloved doggy in his arms.
It was a big day for his doggy… a brave step towards a healthier, happier life. And when it was all done, they didn’t just leave with a spayed, safer pup - in his hand was a Pako Kids Magazine!
Because when we teach children to care, we build a kinder future.

For 15 wonderful years, Pako has been inspiring young minds, sharing knowledge, and bringing the joy of learning to children across Namibia.
From our very first issue to today, our mission has stayed the same: to educate, uplift, and spark curiosity in every child, no matter where they are.
