Namibia officially gained its independence on the 21st March 1990, a day we remember the sacrifices made and everyone’s struggle to help the country attain its freedom. The day is to remind us of everyone involved.
It reminds us that we should be proud of our country and its heritage. This will ensure we maintain peace, stability, and the brotherhood’s strong bonds that we have created.
As Namibians, we enjoy cultural unity even though we are a diverse nation. We celebrate Independence Day with intense feelings of love for the country with a sense of nationalism and patriotism.

AIESEC is the world's largest youth run organization. It is present in +- 126 countries. Our vision is peace and fulfilment of human kind's potential. We focus and work of the 17 SDGs (sustainable development goals) to make a world a better place to live in. We try achieving our vision by international exchange programs where we send a person for an exchange to other country so that he/she can let that country know about his/her culture. This will eradicate the misconceptions that people have about a certain country or group of people.
We focus on the youth because they are the future and only they can help making world a better place.
