Hands-on learning is where the magic truly happens โจ
In our grade classrooms, learning goes far beyond books โ it comes to life through baking, building, exploring, and everyday experiences. From measuring ingredients and counting portions during baking activities, to developing problem-solving skills through real-life tasks, our learners are actively engaging their minds and senses every day.
These meaningful, hands-on experiences not only strengthen academic understanding in areas like numeracy and language, but also build confidence, independence, and a love for learning.
Because when children learn by doing, they donโt just remember โ they understand ๐

What a busy but incredibly meaningful week it has been!
ILS had the privilege of presenting a training on Neurodiversity in the Classroom to a special needs school in Windhoekโan inspiring step toward more inclusive and supportive learning environments.
In the very same week, we were honored to have a seat at the table in important discussions around global education partnerships, contributing to conversations that shape the future of education in Namibia.
Grateful, energized, and excited for what lies ahead.

Exploring the world of numbers at ILS โ๏ธ๐ข
Our grades are building strong foundations in mathematics through hands-on learning and meaningful practice. From understanding number concepts and recognizing patterns, to solving sums with growing confidence, each step helps develop critical thinking skills.
Time-telling is another exciting part of our journeyโlearning to read clocks, understand routines, and make sense of daily schedules. โฐ
With patience, practice, and encouragement, our learners are discovering that math is not just about numbersโitโs about understanding the world around them. ๐๐ก
