On 17 June 2026, our learners and the Gardening Team teachers harvested sweet potatoes from the school garden. We are so blessed! The sweet potatoes were big, healthy, and juicy. We are proud of this wonderful harvest and thankful for the hard work that made it possible." 🌱🥔😊

📚✨ On 16 June 2026, Festus Gonteb Primary School had the pleasure of welcoming visitors from the Oshana Region. The delegation visited our school to observe the teaching and learning practices of our dedicated staff members.

World Ocean Day 2026 🌊🌍

On 8 June 2026, Festus !Gonteb Primary School participated in the World Ocean Day celebration at Mole Beach, Swakopmund. Ten Grade 5 learners represented our school and learned from various organizations about ocean conservation, protecting marine life, sustainable use of ocean resources, and the importance of keeping our oceans clean. Learners also attended educational demonstrations and presentations on how communities and industries depend on healthy oceans for their daily activities.
