Today is and we’re shining a spotlight on Herme the humpback who has been visiting our waters frequently these days! 🐬

Herme remains the most frequently sighted humpback dolphin (Sousa plumbea) in the area.

Unlike other humpback dolphins, Herme lives closely with our local bottlenose dolfriends, often appearing male groups and in mixed pods during our tours.

A study was done on his whistle which combined underwater video and acoustic recordings, documenting Herme’s distinctive and unique whistle. 🔍

Image 2: Male p***s pouch swell (lack of better word😂)
