Graduation Ceremony Marks the Closing of the 16th Edition of BIZ: Orange Corners Mozambique Incubation Programme
On July 10, 2026, Orange Corners Mozambique celebrated the successful conclusion of the 16th edition of BIZ, its business incubation programme, with a memorable graduation ceremony.
The event was honoured by the presence of the Minister of Youth and Sports, Caifadine Manasse, and the Deputy Ambassador and Head of Cooperation of the Embassy of the Kingdom of the Netherlands, Wietze Sijtsma. They were joined by partners (Vodacom, Heineken, Van Oord, and Grindrod), ecosystem players, and the incubated entrepreneurs to celebrate another successful edition of the programme.
Over six months, 25 entrepreneurs from 7 provinces of Mozambique took part in an intensive journey of capacity building, mentorship, networking, and access to funding opportunities. The group stood out for its balanced gender representation, with 12 women and 13 men, reinforcing Orange Corners Mozambique’s commitment to inclusion, regional diversity, and the economic empowerment of all genders.
This 16th edition once again highlights the vibrant entrepreneurial spirit of Mozambican youth, who continue to stand out and persevere despite the challenges the country faces. The businesses developed reflect not only creativity and resilience, but also a clear focus on solving real problems within their communities.
Orange Corners Mozambique is an initiative of the Government of the Kingdom of the Netherlands, implemented by ideialab, in partnership with Vodacom, Heineken, Van Oord, and Grindrod. The programme aims to support youth entrepreneurship by fostering the creation and growth of innovative and sustainable businesses in Mozambique.
