Eg: WHILE I was trying to sleep I heard a noise

*WHILE trying to lock the door I broke my glasses.

Generally there are several ways of greeting in English FORMAL and INFORMAL greetings.

We use FORMAL greeting with unknown people or someone who is older than us or a VIP person such as president, minister...
Eg:good morning Sir
Good afternoon madam
Good evening Miss
We use INFORMAL greeting with our friends or know person or someone we have friendship.

Eg: hello Peter
