We are going to participate in the Ipoh Healing Arts Festival in Ipoh, Malaysia on Thursday, December 29, 2022.

At the Ipoh Healing Arts Festival on Thursday, December 29, Japanese dancer and choreographer 砂連尾 理 (Osamu Jareo) and sound artist Kamal Sabran, who has been researching the possibility of music therapy for dementia in Malaysia, will present a work with physical expression and music.
In addition to the workshop and presentation of their works, there will also be a talk session with Malaysian researchers.

One day art festival, in conjunction with Ipoh International Art Festival, curated by Kamal Sabran featuring Totsu-totsu Dance as well as other forms of healing arts. We look forward to your participation.

12月29日(木)のIpoh Healing Arts Festivalでは、日本のダンサー・振付家の 砂連尾 理 (Osamu Jareo) と、マレーシアで認知症の音楽療法の可能性を研究してきたサウンドアーティストの Kamal Sabran(カマル・サブラン)が、身体表現と音楽による作品を発表します。
また、作品の発表だけでなく、ワークショップや、マレーシアの研究者を迎えたトークセッションも行われます。

Ipoh International Arts Festivalは、Ipoh International Art Festivalと連動した、カマル・サブラン監修による1日限りのアートフェスティバルです。とつとつダンスやその他のヒーリングアートが楽しめます。ぜひご参加ください。

Japan-Malaysia Collaborative Project for Dementia. Open to public to create awareness on the role of creative arts in dementia care. In this project, JAREO Osamu, a Japanese dancer/choreographer with over 10 years of experience working with dementia patients and Kamal Sabran, an artist/researcher who has been researching the possibility of sound art interventions for dementia in Malaysia, are working together with people with dementia, their care partners and families living in Malaysia through a series of workshops and talks.
