Universiti Pendidikan Sultan Idris, Tanjong Malim – Digital Creative Marathon (DICRATHON) 2024 concluded with a grand celebration at Universiti Pendidikan Sultan Idris (UPSI), Sultan Abdul Jalil Shah Campus. This event brought together digital talent, creative thinkers, and esteemed partners from across Malaysia. Designed to foster innovation, collaboration, and practical skills, DICRATHON provided students with an invaluable platform to showcase their abilities, tackle real-world challenges, and engage in meaningful learning and growth.

In its final phase, the event welcomed students from both public and private universities, including UPSI, UTEM, UKM, USM, UTP, UUM, POLITEKNIK MERSING, UMPSA, and UNISEL, accompanied by their lecturers, whose support has been invaluable. The top teams included NEXPO in first place, followed by INFINITY, VISTA VOYAGERS, 404NOTFOUND, INNOVATEX, CODE COMMANDERS, DiGiFIVE, and SLOTH KINGDOM.

The support of strategic partners, who not only served as judges but also contributed their expertise and presence, added tremendous value to DICRATHON. Special appreciation is extended to DigitalPro, Microsoft, EvoPoint, PowerIT Solutions, and Asia Digital Engineering (ADE). Their involvement has been instrumental in shaping the success of this event and is deeply appreciated.

The closing ceremony celebrated both individual and collective achievements, with Prof. Dr. Rosmilah Misnan, Director of the Research Management and Innovation Centre, highlighting the significant contributions of all SIGs (DILIGENT, MindGames Think Tank and EduGreen@UPSI) from MetaUPSI and the strategic partners. Prof. Dr. Rosmilah congratulated the participants, whose creativity and dedication injected fresh ideas and renewed energy into Malaysia’s digital landscape.
