The EcoCatch-M team was only informed about their participation a month before the competition, yet they managed to bag the gold award under the category of Applied Physics and Engineering at the World Invention Competition and Exhibition 2026 (WICE).

Having observed the poor river conditions in Klang Valley, the 6 Engineering students from SEGi University developed a three-staged biological filter prototype using sustainable materials in attempts to solve the issue.

The Hungarian Inventions & Inventors: A Mobile Exhibition officially opened today at the SEGi Dome, organised by SEGi University’s Research and Innovation Management Centre (RIMC).

We were honoured to welcome H.E. Dr Sándor Sipos, Ambassador of Hungary for Malaysia and 3 other delegates from the Embassy of Hungary.

This is where Malaysian flavours meet a new way of thinking about food — healthier, creative, delicious and made for today.

From Chinese and Malay to Indian, Nyonya and Borneo cuisine, we’re challenging young culinary talents to take familiar flavours and turn them into exciting plant-based wellness creations. 🌱✨
