We Are Malaysia’s Little Heroes!

In this month of August, Aixin daddy KC together with the Aixin parents team had a chat with the children about our Jalur Gemilang, national emblem and our national flower. We reminded them that they can be little heroes for Malaysia, starting with little things like caring for others, protecting our environment, being respectful and be responsible for our actions.

Happy Merdeka Day, Malaysia!

Today’s Aixin Talk 爱心讲堂 touches on a simple yet important topic of Gratitude 感恩.
We can always look for something to be thankful of every day.

Thank you Aunty Bee for reminding the kids to:
- Keep a gratitude journal by writing down one thing you are thankful for each day.
- Practise empathy by helping family members with tasks such as folding clothes.
- Show appreciation by saying thank you and giving your parents a hug.

Once again, our dedicated Aixin parents devoted their time and energy, waking up early to partner with the school in making the 2026 Sports Day a success.
From managing traffic flow and stage crowd control to supporting the march past and leading the opening dance, their contributions played an invaluable role throughout the event.

The success of the day is a wonderful reminder that ordinary parents can make an extraordinary difference when we come together in support of our school community. We welcome more parents to be Aixin volunteers, you will indeed be blessed being good role models to the kids.

A special note of appreciation goes to our retiring volunteer leaders, YK Low, Agnes, and Janice, who will be graduating alongside their youngest children this year.

Thank you to all the school administrators, teachers, AiXin parents who made Kwang Hwa Sports Day 2026 such a memorable and successful event!

Yesterday’s 爱心讲堂 Aixin Talk for the Standard 1 and 3 children carried the topic of “The Colourful Little Balloon in Our Hearts.”

This interactive session helped the children understand that everyone has an “emotional balloon” inside them — how it appears and how it should be cared for. Through a simple 3-step method, we guided the children to learn how to manage and care for their emotions:

1. Take a deep breath
2. Talk about it
3. Calm down

This simple method works for adults too!

Today’s 爱心讲堂 AiXin talk reminded the kids that at a young age, they too are capable of practicing continuous waste segregation, making it easier for recycle efforts and contributing to a more sustainable earth 🌍 and cleaner place to live in.

Practical hands-on waste segregation quizzes followed, and the kids did really well!
