Hi everyone, let's continue with the Part 2 of the Shipping Guarantee. This time we will talk about the risks and the costs that involved.

The major risks to the issuer is when upon issuance of SG, you lose protection and are liable to make payment under the letter of credit (LC) or collection bill even if documents and goods subsequently received contains irregularities or discrepancies.

The major risk to the subscriber is when upon receiving claim made against SG, AmBank will proceed to pay the shipping company and the bank has the right to debit your account for the amount claimed.

The cost and other cost elements that involve between these two parties of issuer and subscriber can be refer as follows:
