Sri KDU International School, Penang XCL International School Penang is a school for children aged 3 to 18. Students are taught by both Malaysian and expatriate teachers.

Formerly known as XCL International School Penang, and now proudly part of the renowned Sri KDU family, Sri KDU International School Penang stands as the first premium international school in mainland Penang. The school follows an enriched British curriculum, leading to the IGCSE and A Level qualifications. The school is set in a green and healthy environment on a campus spanning eight acres, with

access to superior facilities. Bahasa Malaysia, Malaysian History, and Moral or Islamic Studies – compulsory subjects for Malaysian students and electives for others – are taught to strengthen roots in Malaysian values, culture, and development. Core competencies in literacy and numeracy are nurtured and developed starting from a local perspective across various subject offerings, and reaching the broadest perspectives, as encapsulated in the maxim “Malaysia first, the world next”. The school fosters an environment encouraging high parental engagement. The total learning experience at the XCL International School Penang is supported by superior facilities which include air-conditioned classrooms, art rooms, black box studio, dance studio, design technology workshop, ICT/digital learning spaces, libraries, music rooms, science laboratories, sports halls and outdoor sporting facilities - archery, basketball courts, climbing wall, futsal court, netball court, sepak takraw court, soccer pitch, swimming pool and learner pool. In addition, a counseling room, infirmary, and prayer rooms are provided. A well-connected full Wi-Fi environment is also provided.

We are delighted to celebrate another year of strong GCSE achievements at Sri KDU International School Penang.

🌟 43% of GCSE grades achieved were A–A*

Our students also delivered excellent subject results:

• Additional Mathematics — 100% A*–C

World Scholar's Cup (WSC)

Congratulations to Jayden, Marko and Shawn, who proudly represented our school at the World Scholar's Cup Global Round in Kuala Lumpur, joining more than 3,000 students from 39 countries in one of the world's most prestigious academic competitions.

Returning home with an impressive collection of gold and silver medals, the trio also achieved the remarkable distinction of qualifying for the prestigious Tournament of Champions at Yale University, a testament to their exceptional performance, curiosity and dedication.

But beyond the medals, this journey was about so much more. It was about embracing challenges, building confidence, forging friendships and discovering just how far curiosity can take you.
