We are so back with our long-awaited UT MARA Recruitment drive on 16th October 2025. The event aimed to introduce new students to the world of debating and reignite the club’s spirit of critical thinking and public speaking.
A highlight of the day was the mock debate, where our talented debaters from the club showcased engaging arguments and witty rebuttals, giving newcomers a taste of the excitement and teamwork that debating offers. The event saw an overwhelming turnout, with enthusiastic participation and curiosity from prospective members.
Adding to the success of the occasion, many seniors and alumni returned to lend their support, sharing their experiences, offering guidance, and motivating new debaters to take part in future tournaments. Their presence reflected the club’s strong sense of community and continuity across generations. The event ended with a photography session, and it was just a day full of passion and vibes.
Overall, the recruitment drive marked a hopeful new chapter for UT MARA, strengthening its foundation and setting the stage for continued growth and success in the years to come.
