Permohonan bagi subsidi pengangkutan awam RM30 sebulan selama 6 bulan untuk pengguna DRT telah dibuka bermula 1 Jun melalui aplikasi “NINE”, manakala pelaksanaannya akan bermula pada 15 Jun!

Inisiatif ini diperkenalkan bagi membantu mengurangkan kos perjalanan harian rakyat, khususnya mereka yangp menggunakan pengangkutan awam untuk bekerja dan urusan harian.

Melalui subsidi ini, Kerajaan Negeri berharap dapat mengurangkan beban kos pengangkutan harian rakyat, menggalakkan lebih ramai menggunakan pengangkutan awam serta mengurangkan kesesakan jalan raya dan pelepasan karbon

Kepada pengguna DRT, jangan lupa untuk:
✅ Muat turun aplikasi “NINE”
✅ Lengkapkan proses pengesahan identiti (eKYC)

During my visit to Phison Electronics’ US office, a young intern walked up to greet me.

His name is Chalmers Phua, and he‘s from Kinrara, Puchong.

Chalmers attended SJK(C) Yak Chee in Puchong, pursued his undergraduate studies in the US, then chose to come back, working as a firmware engineer in Penang before heading to the US again for his PhD in System Performance.

Some might call this brain drain. I’d argue it‘s more nuanced than that. Malaysians have always gone abroad to study and work, that’s not new, and it‘s not inherently a problem.

The real question is whether we’re building an ecosystem worth coming back to. And there are encouraging signs. Phison‘s subsidiary MaiStorage is already operating at the Malaysia Semiconductor Design Park right here in Puchong, bringing high-value semiconductor design work back to our own backyard.

But we need more of this. More R&D roles. More design-level positions. More reasons for our best people to choose Malaysia.

That’s what we‘re working towards, making Malaysia ready to welcome them back, and worthy enough to keep them.
