Futsal is played between two teams of five players each, one of whom is the goalkeeper. Unlimited substitutions are permitted. The surface, ball and rules favour ball control and passing in small spaces. The game emphasizes "improvisation, creativity and technique".

-Volleyball-
Volleyball is a team sport in which two teams of six players are separated by a net. Each team tries to score points by grounding a ball on the other team's court under organized rules. It can be done indoors or outside, with fairly basic materials. It's also a fantastic tool for working on teamwork, hand-eye coordination and movement.

Memperingati jasa seorang wira negara, Rjr Monir bin Edi. Anak beliau kini seorang Perajurit Muda PSSTLDM di PSTL Kuching.

Ahoy! Bersempena dengan sambutan Hari Pahlawan 2020 yang lalu, PSTL Kuching ingin mengetengahkan seorang Wira berdarah Sarawak yang pernah mempertarungkan nyawa dari ancaman anasir luar dan mempertahankan kedaulatan negara.

Allahyarham Rjr 929424 Monir Bin Edi, arwah bapa kepada salah seorang anggota PSSTLDM Kuching, 8010185 Pt. M Sahrul Azzahar Bin Monir pernah berkhidmat sebagai 42 Commando, The Royal Marines Guide Interpreter di Era Konfrontasi Indonesia-Malaysia 1962-1966.

Hasil daripada kepakaran yang banyak membantu, beliau telah diberikan pengiktirafan. Menurut satu dokumen yang pernah dikeluarkan The Royal Marines, menyatakan bahawa ;

“Monir Bin Edi bertugas di sini sebagai penterjemah.
Semasa di sini, saya amat berpuas hati dengan kerja beliau.
Beliau sesuai untuk diberikan amanah dalam menjalankan sebarang tugas.
Beliau lama bekerja secara berkump**an, menunjukkan hasil standard yang tinggi bila berhadapan dengan pengganas Indonesia.
Saya mengesyorkan beliau ke jawatan Konstabel Sarawak (Polis Sarawak) memandangkan beliau telah lama bertugas dan berpengalaman luas dalam Perkhidmatan Konstabel.”

Pada tahun 1967 hingga 1977, Allahyarham telah diserap ke pasukan 2nd Ranger Regiment, juga pernah dikenali sebagai Sarawak Ranger dan menumpahkan khidmat bakti sebagai Delta (D) Company Runner di kawasan kep**auan Sabah dan sekitarnya. Kemudian, dari tahun 1977 hingga 1979 p**a, Allahyarham menganggotai Pasukan Simpanan yang boleh dikerah, pada bila-bila masa sahaja.

Pelbagai pertempuran telah dilalui sepanjang Era Konfrontasi Indonesia-Malaysia, antaranya adalah pertempuran dengan Angkatan Siliwangi dan Paraku (The North Kalimantan Communist Party). Allahyarham juga pernah bertempur dari kawasan Sematan sehingga ke kawasan tengah Sarawak - Kanowit.

Penganugerahan Pingat Jasa Malaysia (PJM) telah dizahirkan kepada Allahyarham yang telah berkhidmat dalam masa darurat dan menentang pengganas komunis.
