From the 1st to 3rd of November, our troop organised the Annual Skill Camp to allow the junior members to learn several new skills which include A-frame tent building, First aid as well as Gadget building. The members also had a lot of fun with the games and other activities organised by the camp committee. We hope to see more members participating in future Troop Camps!

During the last troop meeting (29 June), junior members were taught how to tie several new lashings as well as being introduced to marching. Meanwhile, the seniors worked on their hourglass tower as they prepare themselves to embark their king scout journey 💪🏻 Seniors were also briefed about the upcoming 80KM XPDC by previous batches of Calon Pengakap Raja (CPR) to give them a heads up of what to expect during the XPDC later this year.

From the 24th to 27th of November, 2 of our members participated in the 4 days 3 night Alliance Camp organised by 70th Petaling Scout Troop. During these 4 days, both of them faced many difficult challenges but they managed make the best of those challenges and learn many new skills in the process. Most importantly, they also had lots of fun and made many new friends during this camp! 😊

Recently, 6 of our members have attended JOTA JOTI Daerah Petaling 2017 which was held in Sri KL International School from 21 October to 22 October 2017. It was their first time joining a district level camp and it was indeed an amazing experience for them. They have carried out many tasks using the internet and also learnt more about scouting in the process. Most importantly, they made many new friends from different schools and some even from different countries.

4 of our members had also been awarded the Superb Badge for completing more than the minimum tasks required during the camp. They are Anabelle Siew, Eryn Chee, Koh Chin Woey and Loke Pui See. Congratulations to the 4 of them! Keep up the good work!

Congratulations to 2 of our members that have successfully completed their 80KM Senior Scout Expedition, which was held from 25th - 28th August. Both of them are Chai Koon Hoe & Adrian Goh. Even though it was tiring journey with much sweat and pain, they still made it to the end safely. It was indeed an unforgettable experience for them. All the best for their journey to achieve the King Scout Award (Pengakap Raja) in the future!
