Bengkel Pemantapan Halatuju Kepakaran dan Subkepakaran Perkhidmatan Perubatan Dalaman Tahun 2025 20-22 August 2025 at Hotel Mardhiyyah, Shah Alam
Head of subspeciality services and internal medicine head of department from hospitals and health clinics in Malaysia went through 3 days extensive workshop from morning to 11pm at night to discuss on the direction of healthcare in internal medicine and important issues in parellel with the healthcare services in Malaysia.
The 3 day workshop included group discussion and presentation on Lean Initiatives projects planned, implementing or implemented in various hospitals and health clinics in Malaysia. Problems arising were expressed and suggestions on solutions for improvement were sought.
There was also a townhall session with Datuk Dr Mahathar Abd Wahab , our new Director- General of health Malaysia focusing on current healthcare issues and implementation of Special Interest Group ( SIG) in certain areas.

AIM subspecialty has a big leap for the past few years under the guidance of our ex- head of service Dato Noel Thomas and currently by Dr yoon chee kin, who is also a AIM consultant in Hospital Pulau Pinang and head of CRC HPP.
With the help of all AIM physicians, NSR application is in progress as well as the new development of AIM society.

After months of preparation , multitasking among physicians, medical officers, nurses and supporting team from usg company, we successfully run our first penang pocus workshop at Hospital Bukit Mertajam, known to be a small district hospital.
Medical department in HBM aims to provide high quality care by incorporating PoCus to enhance our diagnostic accuracy and improving patient outcome.
Speakers with expertise in pocus like Dr Zainura , AIM physician HSAH, Dr Abinash, AIM physician hospital Taiping, Dr Chow Chee Toong, emergency physician HSJ and Dr Ong Ting Bin , Anesthetist Bagan Specialist Hospital enlightened participants with their abundant knowledge on Pocus on acute and critical care.
