You don’t really understand a pathway until you’ve stepped into it. ✨

Last week, our Year 10 students, alongside students from our sister school, Sri Emas, spent the day at 𝗦𝘂𝗻𝘄𝗮𝘆 𝗨𝗻𝗶𝘃𝗲𝗿𝘀𝗶𝘁𝘆 for the 𝗦𝗰𝗵𝗼𝗼𝗹 𝗼𝗳 𝗔𝗺𝗲𝗿𝗶𝗰𝗮𝗻 𝗘𝗱𝘂𝗰𝗮𝘁𝗶𝗼𝗻 𝗜𝗺𝗺𝗲𝗿𝘀𝗶𝗼𝗻 𝗣𝗿𝗼𝗴𝗿𝗮𝗺𝗺𝗲 — an experience designed to let students explore how an American Degree Programme actually works.

Across interactive workshops, challenges, quizzes, and subject-based sessions, students were given space to try, question, and discover what genuinely interests them.

What made the experience even more meaningful was the mix of students from 𝗜𝗻𝘀𝗽𝗶𝗿𝗼𝘀, 𝗢𝗮𝗸𝗯𝗿𝗶𝗱𝗴𝗲, and 𝗣𝗿𝗲𝗺𝗳𝗶𝗲𝗹𝗱 𝗜𝗻𝘁𝗲𝗿𝗻𝗮𝘁𝗶𝗼𝗻𝗮𝗹 𝗦𝗰𝗵𝗼𝗼𝗹. New environments, new perspectives, and opportunities to collaborate with people they had just met. They had to figure things out together, exchange ideas, and make it work as a team.

A day of exposure, yes — but more importantly, a step towards understanding themselves and the possibilities ahead.

A big thank you to 𝗦𝘂𝗻𝘄𝗮𝘆 𝗨𝗻𝗶𝘃𝗲𝗿𝘀𝗶𝘁𝘆 for the invitation and for creating an experience where students could explore, ask, and think a little deeper about what comes next.
